Tea Powder
Indian tea powder refers to either the tea leaves themselves or, more commonly, the spice blend known as Chai Masala Powder. Tea is processed from leaves that are mechanically cut, torn, and curled into CTC (crush, tear, curl) form for everyday teas or hand-rolled for more refined varieties. Chai Masala powder is a mixture of whole spices like cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon, often used to flavor milk tea, known as Masala Chai.
